I'm Afgan — a freelance developer based in Jakarta helping startups and product teams ship web and mobile experiences that feel inevitable. My work sits at the intersection of engineering rigor and design taste.

Over the last six years I've built everything from early-stage MVPs to design systems used by hundreds of engineers. I write TypeScript like prose — clear, deliberate, no cleverness for its own sake. I believe the best products don't shout; they just feel right.

Currently focused on React, Next.js, and React Native, with a soft spot for animation, performance budgets, and the small interactions that make a product memorable. When I'm not shipping, I'm usually writing about craft or mentoring junior devs.
